only suggestion(s) i have is:
as you intend to do lots of AV work - a dedicated sound card rather than onboard unit?
and do you need 2x Blu-ray players? --- if you can get away with one blu-ray and a DVD (as the blu-ray will burn DVD's as well) that will save you some money

otherwise looks good :)

Hello Elkor
Thanks very much for your advice...

The motherboard has got 7.1 channel audio... but do you think a dedicated sound would be much better?
Also I anticipated that i might be copying blurays hence the two BD players... but do you think copying blurays would be just as convenient with one BD player?

Hi Samix
i suggested the dedicated sound card only because you stated you intend to do lots of audio work - and basically while onboard can be 'ok' they will never be 'excellent' - for that you are always better off getting a dedicated card (i am not an audio freak but i know that a dedicated graphics will out perform any onbaord graphics hands down)

to my knowledge if you intend to burn blu-rays then yep its going to have to be 2 drives - fair play to you for that, i have a blu-ray on my system but actually never used it as i also have a PS3 which is a sight easier to carry about than my pc :D

only other thing would be a SSD in addition to the 2Tb HDD - for your OS, super fast - yay! :p

good luck with the build and enjoy your rig
