are you writing a program that utilises only one CPU core? otherwise im not sure why would you want to overcock only one core XD.
But generally if your motherboard (and BIOS) supports Core Multiplier Unlcoking, then you can set the multipliers to the values you desire for each core. Careful with the FSB tho, cause raising it will overclock all your CPU cores and Memory speed by default.
FSB default speed 200 Mhz.
example: my stock speed on the Phenom II 965 is 3.4 Ghz for core.
so the default multiplier is 17 (200 x 17 = 3400 Mhz).
just putting it here so if someone is not sure how this works, you can see that FSB overclocking can be devastating if not handled properly.
