You split the power in which they supply, so you can use one for the Motherboard and CPU and then use the other for the peripherals like the HDD'd and Dvd drives, or when using split cooling systems.

Also, iv never seen any EVGA cards on the configurator :S

The EVGA cards we only sell in limited amounts mainly because of the current NVIDIA shortage and use on bigger builds costing 3 to 5k.
