Peak DVB-T Digital TV USB stick

Postby Jimbogob » 05 Feb 2012, 14:32

I have just tried out the above which was supplied with my PC. The interface is beautiful and I thought whoopie! this works nicely. Now comes the bad news. Unfortunately the channel scan facility cannot seem to find any channels at all from my LG digital TV used with a Humax 3100 which are both only about 3 metres from my PC in the same room. My TV uses a conventional aerial and reception is excellent. I have tried this several times with the TV on and off.

Can anyone throw any light on my darkness please ??

Hello,

Just to check you are using an external aerial into the TV card?

I'm guessing it can't detect a signal based on that. It's best to use an external aerial

OK I'll try to think how to set this up. I have tried another small inside aerial but that didn't work, I,m afraid.
