Feedback Wanted

Postby Tom@CP » 23 Mar 2011, 18:26

Hello :)

Looking for some feedback on a new layout for pre designed pc systems this is not to replace the design your own pc section. The pre designed systems have less options to select from a more of a product.

Example of old index: http://www.computerplanet.co.uk/systems ... nt_pc.html

Example of old customise pre designed pc: http://www.computerplanet.co.uk/silent/ ... step1.html

New style index with no big changes:
http://www.computerplanet.co.uk/systems ... index.html

New customise pre designed pc page with the main change: http://www.computerplanet.co.uk/media_c ... step1.html

Welcome any thoughts :)

I think the 'New customise pre designed pc page with the main change:' is very nice.
I really like the tabbed layout, and as I'm always interested in the specs, the Specs tab with all that info is a major improvement and very nice feature - very welcome. I'd like to suggest that as the Technical Specs. page is long and detailed, it would be good to be able to collapse individual sections. So, for example, I could bring the power supply section close to the graphics card section etc.

I recognise that not everyone who wants a 'pre-designed' is necessarily interested in the specs, but I think that many when choosing a 'pre-designed' still want to know some detail of what their getting. It may even be that armed with the added information in the specs, people will go with the 'pre-designed' on offer, and not feel the need to 'customise'. Which would good for them and good for CP - that's to say they can get it 'off the shelf' or close to.

Thanks MipMapper, comments noted.

No issue on the links elkor. Let me know how it goes at home. No flash on the site so should be loading fine.
